Role Description Role Description The Financial Solutions Expert is a full-time, on-site role based in Latham, NY. This position is responsible for meeting with clients to assess their financial needs, goals, and risk tolerance, and for developing customized financial strategies and solutions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting financial analyses, preparing and presenting recommendations, and following up to ensure clients understand and feel confident in their plans. The role involves providing ongoing consulting support, answering client questions, and maintaining accurate records of interactions and recommendations. The Financial Solutions Expert also participates in business development activities, such as networking, outreach, and collaboration with internal team members, to expand the firm’s client base and deliver high-quality service. Responsibilities Meet with clients to assess financial needs, goals, and risk tolerance; develop customized financial strategies and solutions. Qualifications Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, evaluate options, and create effective solutions. Consulting capabilities to identify client needs, recommend tailored strategies, and provide ongoing guidance. Customer service skills to deliver responsive, empathetic, and consistent support to a diverse client base. Sales skills to identify opportunities, present solutions, and responsibly grow the firm’s portfolio of clients. Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience in financial services. Professional licenses or certifications (e.g., FINRA registrations, insurance licenses, CFP or similar credentials) are preferred or may be required based on role duties.
