Job Title Registered Nurse – Orthopedic Location Burlington, NC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend (Saturday & Sunday) | No Call | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a 29-bed orthopedic and medical-surgical unit serving adult through geriatric populations Care for high-volume patient populations including total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties Support inpatient and 24-hour observation patients presenting with medical conditions Utilize telemetry monitoring capabilities available on the unit Serve as Charge RN as needed; Charge RN shifts are a regular expectation of this role Float to other campus locations as needed Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission Minimum 2 years of RN experience Previous travel nursing experience required Charge RN experience required BLS certification required EPIC EMR experience required Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed) Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted No open background cases permitted Current driver's license required to verify address Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Requested time off must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO will be accepted Preferred Experience / Skills Experience in orthopedic nursing, including total joint replacement and fracture care Familiarity with telemetry monitoring Experience with medical-surgical and observation patient populations Why Join Us Work on a well-equipped unit featuring an on-unit physical therapy gym, allowing patients to receive rehabilitation without leaving the floor Structured schedule with no on-call requirements and expected hours of 36 hours per week Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 794211.
