7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Rotating Weekends)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our ICU unit. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients. This role requires strong critical thinking skills and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Administer medications and perform necessary procedures including intubations and central lines.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide emergency interventions as required.
• Document patient information and care in the Meditech system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active TX RN License (Temporary licenses not accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• NIH Stroke Certification is preferred.
• Experience with IABP, CRRT, and Meditech is a plus.
