Qualifications Caregiving experience or certification preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Competency Evaluated Nursing Assistant (CENA), Home Health Aide * Minimum of 17 years of age. * Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing. * Must be able to pass the state mandated criminal background screening. Essential Functions Deliver care based on individualized service plans * Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, mobility, dining) * Respond promptly to resident requests and call lights * Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to supervisor * Document care and services as directed * Assist residents with meals and life enrichment activities as needed Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. * Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist residents in all aspects of personal care. * Handle emotional and physical demands of caregiving About Seminole Shores Assisted Living Center South Our living center is a licensed Home for the Aged in Michigan, dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to our residents.
