Senior Human Resources Analyst

Join our team as a Senior Human Resources Analyst! The Placer County Human Resources Department is inviting applications for a Senior Human Resources Analyst in Auburn, CA. This role will conduct workplace investigations involving allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, and potential policy violations. The analyst will also serve as a subject‑matter expert in employee and labor relations, provide guidance to management on complex personnel matters, and ensure compliance with employment laws, organizational policies, and collective bargaining agreements. Key responsibilities include: Participating in collective bargaining negotiations for the County’s five recognized bargaining units Researching labor market trends and compensation data Preparing bargaining proposals and costing analyses Interpreting labor agreements and responding to grievances Assisting management in the administration of collective bargaining agreements Minimum qualifications: At least 2 years of responsible professional human resources administration experience at a level equivalent to a full journey level Human Resources Analyst II with Placer County Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business, public administration, human resources administration, behavioral science, or a related field Certifications from the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) and/or the California Labor Relations Academy (CLRM) are desired, though not required Valid California driver’s license, proof of vehicle insurance, and medical clearance may be required Placer County is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
