Associate Attorney

Overview We are seeking an associate attorney with five-plus years of experience, preferably within the area of family law. The attorney will work on cases in support of a lead attorney while also managing some of their own cases. The allotment of cases as a supporting attorney versus lead attorney will depend on experience and progress. Responsibilities Work on discovery, trial preparation, and participate in case strategy meetings Assist with client communication and case preparation Participate in hearings and trials, and provide support to the lead attorney during trial when applicable Qualifications Five-plus years of experience, preferably in family law Experience with discovery, trial preparation, and trial support Ability to work with a lead attorney and manage some own cases Strong communication skills and collaboration with staff and clients Benefits and Compensation Pay range varies based on experience with a bonus structure based on performance Health, dental, and vision insurances offered through the firm 401(k) plan with matching Company Description We are a boutique law firm in Brazoria County, specializing in family law. Our firm is highly recognized for helping individuals and families with matters including divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, premarital agreements, grandparent rights, paternity, protective orders, and CPS matters. We currently have five full-time attorneys along with 11 full-time support staff. Our offices are located in Angleton and Pearland.
