This position is responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials, supplies, and equipment across various storage and service areas. The Forklift Driver collaborates closely with warehouse staff, kitchen teams, and delivery personnel to support seamless operations and timely service delivery. Minimum Qualifications: Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, plant or similar environment. Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely and efficiently. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the accommodation and food services industry. Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills. Additional safety training or certifications related to material handling. Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Valid forklift operator certification or license in accordance with OSHA standards. Responsibilities: Operate forklifts to load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently. Transport goods and supplies to designated storage or service areas within the facility. Inspect forklifts daily to ensure they are in safe working condition and report any maintenance needs promptly. Maintain accurate records of materials moved and assist with inventory management as needed. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent workplace accidents and injuries. Collaborate with team members to coordinate the timely movement of goods to support food preparation and accommodation services. Assist with organizing storage areas to optimize space and accessibility.
