Registered Nurse (Rn)

University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in servicing patients in Detroit and surrounding areas of MI. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a home care setting, ensuring their health and well-being through compassionate and professional services.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning.
• Monitor patients' health status and communicate changes promptly to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans, medication management, and health maintenance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and progress.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and University Home Care Inc policies.

Requirements

• Current and valid RN license in the state of Michigan.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in home care or related field.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in the Detroit area.
