Occupational Therapist - Outpatient Pediatric Specialty

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 4x10 Days

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide specialized care for a predominantly outpatient pediatric population. The therapist will work within a department that serves inpatient, swing bed, long-term care, and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric care and possess strong assessment skills for various developmental and functional disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and implement treatment plans for pediatric patients.
• Utilize standardized assessments and developmental testing/treatment methodologies.
• Assess and manage acute and chronic disorders.
• Engage in functional activities and therapy interventions tailored to individual needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in outpatient, acute care, long-term care/SNF, and pediatrics preferred.
• Ability to transition between inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care settings.
• Pending licensure will be accepted with proof of application.
