Nontenure Faculty Pool - Department of Physical Therapy
The Physical Therapy Department seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty to teach. Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based on student demand on a semester-by-semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and departmental/school/program needs. Successful candidates will teach at the Round Rock, TX campus. This posting is for the fall 2026, spring 2027, and summer 2027 semesters. Please note that this posting is not intended to convey that such a need currently exists. Applicants applying for a pool faculty position will be available to the departmental search committee for consideration in case the need arises.
Required Qualifications - Specific educational requirements vary by position, but a minimum of a DPT or an MS in Physical Therapy and a valid Physical therapist license in the state of Texas.
Preferred Qualifications - Previous teaching experience is preferred. Terminal Degree is preferred.
