Ohio Licensed Member Service Specialist

To support a growing Medicare Advantage plan, the full-time Ohio Licensed Member Service Specialist will respond to consumer inquiries regarding plan benefits and services, ensuring compliance with federal regulations while working remotely. Key responsibilities Respond to consumer inquiries via phone, in person, or in writing, ensuring compliance with CMS and other regulatory requirements Engage with consumers to meet service performance goals and implement retention strategies to maintain membership Document inquiries and actions taken accurately within designated software systems Required qualifications Minimum of high school education; some college-level studies preferred Experience in customer service with knowledge of Medicare and CMS regulations Proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Office and data entry Understanding of managed care benefit plans and medical terminology Ability to effectively communicate and organize tasks in a fast-paced environment
