Milieu Therapist - Child and Adolescent

Shift 4 10-Hour shifts - one weekend day Essential Duties And Responsibilities Facilitates curriculum-based groups. Provides meal monitoring and support. Documentation of groups, meals and patient check‑ins and observations. Provides support to Milieu including the following: De‑escalation and crisis management Bathroom monitoring Monitoring outside breaks Conducts self‑harm and suicide assessment Support morning routine in IP/Res programs Collect weights, vitals and urine in some settings Implements individual behavior management plans for some patients and serves as clinical lead for the program in standalone programs in evenings and weekends. Will lead more advanced groups. Coverage for Primary Therapists with support from Clinical Manager or Clinical Director. Must Haves Bachelor’s degree in mental health or related degree program (required) Master’s degree in mental health or related degree program (required) Intern or associate license from appropriate state licensing board (required) Minimum 18 months of experience in a behavioral health or related field (requirement waived with relevant master’s degree) Teammates working in a Colorado Residential Child Care facility (RCCF) must: be at least twenty‑one (21) years of age or be at least eighteen (18) years of age and work directly under the supervision of a teammate over twenty‑one (21) years of age.
