Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring OR scrubbing skills and call coverage.

Details

• Endoscopy/OR unit within a hospital setting
• Case types include ortho, ENT, plastics, general, robotics, and urology
• Fast-paced OR environment with 6 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Day shift schedule 6:30 AM-5:00 PM Tuesday-Friday with Mondays off
• No block scheduling and no floating required
• Call required: one weeknight 7 PM-6:30 AM and every other weekend Saturday/Sunday night 3:00 PM-7:00 AM
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1+ years of recent OR experience required
• Must be able to scrub in for procedures
• Robotics experience preferred
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week and submitted with application
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at this health system within the past 2 years will not be considered
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
