A night shift pharmacist position is available at a 200-bed community hospital in Florida, starting ASAP. This contract opportunity offers a unique schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off, working from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, allowing for an excellent work-life balance during off days.
Responsibilities include:
- Verifying medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
- Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
- Managing pharmacokinetics and dosing adjustments
- Consulting with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
- Utilizing Meditech and Pyxis systems for medication management
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Active Florida pharmacist license
- Experience in a hospital inpatient setting, preferably with community hospital exposure
- Willingness and availability to work night shifts
- Strong communication skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration

- Based in Stuart, Florida
This contract assignment extends for approximately 13 weeks, offering flexibility for pharmacists seeking short-term or supplemental work.
