ASST. MANAGER INSTRUMENT ROOM

Summary of Position The Instrument Room Assistant Manager has 24‑hour responsibility for directing and coordinating the activities of Instrument Room Attendants engaged in the preparation of sterile instruments. The Manager participates in the budgetary process, tracks and reports instrument expenditures, establishes and implements auditing and management strategies to assure that instruments are available and in working condition, and maintains sterile processing records according to AORN and AAMl standards. Location & Work Hours City/State: Bronx, New York Work Shift: Evening (3 PM–11:30 PM), Monday–Friday Pay Range $48,620.00 – $60,775.00 Education, Training & Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred. 5 years of sterile processing experience or an equivalent combination of training and credentials required. CRCST certification required. Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and/or move heavy objects (less than 100 pounds).
