Insurance Defense Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney for their Salt Lake City, Utah office. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in areas such as bodily injury, first party bad faith defense, and general insurance defense. Duties Draft motions and conduct depositions, oral arguments, and hearings. Negotiate settlements and manage client reporting. Independently handle appearances and assignments with minimal supervision. Handle civil cases through trial. Requirements Must be licensed to practice law in Utah; additional state licensure is a plus. 6+ years of experience in insurance defense preferred. Experience in bodily injury, first party bad faith defense, or general insurance defense required. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Utah Bar license required. Skills Strong negotiation and client management skills. Ability to work independently and handle cases through trial. Benefits Remote work environment.
