EDUCATION: Education - Associate degree in Nursing. (Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred) 2 years exp in CVICU required SCRUB COLOR: GREEN OR SCRUBS

Facility & Patient Care Details Patient Age Groups : Adults Daily Census : 10 Number of Visits Per Day : - Number of Rooms : 12 Number of Beds : 12 Additional Unit Information Interdisciplinary Support : IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary Patient Diagnoses : We care for post-sternotomy patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair, and aortic dissection. Our patient population also consists of those status post carotid endarterectomy, lobectomy, mediastinoscopy, and any other procedure that has to do with the cardiothoracic area. We also care for vascular patients with extensive co-morbidities and complication. Devices seen in this unit are as follows: CRRT, ECMO, IABP, Impella, Centrimag, VAD, PA catheters.
