Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Carpenter role located in the Southern Maryland Area. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and related materials. Daily tasks may include measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wood and other materials for frameworks, floors, doors, and staircases, as well as performing finish carpentry. The role involves working with hand tools and power tools while adhering to all safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Carpentry and Finish Carpentry practices
• Skilled in the use of Power Tools and Hand Tools
• Experience with Framing and related structural techniques
• Familiarity with safety standards and construction best practices
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Physical fitness to perform tasks such as lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings is a plus
• Prior experience in the construction industry or a related trade is highly preferred
• Subject to background check and obtaining driving record due to being on insurance programs
