Elementary High School School Speech Language Pathologist - Highland Park, NJ

Qualifications & Desired Experience: Active New Jersey SLP licensure required Previous school-based experience preferred Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, administrators, and families Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Familiarity with a range of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies Capacity to manage caseloads across diverse grade levels Key Responsibilities: Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students from elementary through high school Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations, documenting findings and recommendations Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs Consult with classroom teachers and other professionals to integrate supportive strategies into daily instruction Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with state and district policies Engage in progress monitoring and ongoing assessment to adapt and refine therapy approaches Communicate effectively with families regarding student goals, progress, and strategies for continued success This opportunity is ideal for those passionate about fostering communication skills and supporting academic achievement.
