Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Unit

Location: Petoskey, MI

Compensation: $1939 - $2336 | Shift: 3x12 days

Become part of our team and play a vital role in a unit that serves over 4,000 cardiology patients each year. Our facility is renowned for performing procedures such as PTCA, stenting, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers, in addition to caring for patients with congestive heart failure and conducting electrophysiology studies. Our unit has received accolades for its remarkable performance and dedication to achieving optimal patient outcomes.

• Apply clinical judgment to assess and manage patient responses to actual or potential health issues.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care to cardiovascular patients.
• Engage in national clinical trials overseen by our research department.
• Adhere to strict attendance policies to ensure uninterrupted patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Michigan is mandatory.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU setting is essential.
• Experience with EKG interpretation is necessary.
• Willingness to float to similar units is expected.
• Preferred experience includes Neuro, CVICU, Trauma, ventilator management, CRRT, and Balloon Pumps.
• Completion of a skills checklist within one year of application is required.
