Job Description
Registered Nurse - Emergency

Schedule

12-Hour Night Shifts. Flexibility is required for holidays and weekends.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 16 weeks. Guaranteed hours per week: Not specified.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience required.
• At least 1 travel contract completed.
• Certifications required: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, ENPC, NRP, TNCC, and NIHSS.
• Epic experience from the past 2 years is required.
• Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) or rural Emergency Department preferred.
• Charge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population, including newborns to geriatrics.
• Perform assessments and implement care plans as per established protocols.
• Manage emergency interventions and stabilization of patients as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient transport if needed, including ambulance transport for critical cases.
• Precept new nurses as necessary.
