Pay starts at $37.67 plus $1.00 per hour shift differential (for 3rd shift). This full-time position offers benefits including health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, 401K etc. We offer a $5,000 retention bonus for this role. The bonus is paid in two installments of $2,500 at the end of each calendar quarter. New hires are eligible for the first installment at the end of the quarter in which they start.As an Electrician, you will be responsible for building, installing and repairing electrical and electronic circuits used on machine tools and plant equipment. While applying your knowledge the operations of electrical units and systems, you will test and diagnose malfunctions.Job duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Build, install, repair electrical and electronic circuits used on machine tools and plant equipmentApply knowledge of operation of electronic circuits to locate defects using instrumentsTest faulty equipmentApply knowledge of operation of electronic units and systems to diagnose malfunctionsUtilize oscilloscopes, signal generators, electronic counter, recorders, etc.Calibrate and service electronic testing instrumentsElectrically troubleshoot and repair complex machine tools and related equipmentTroubleshoot and repair relay logic machines and CNC/PLC controlled machinesSupport electrical aspects of new equipment installationRequired qualifications:Demonstrate comprehension of oral instructions and/or printed work orders to determine work assignments and material and equipment needsSatisfactorily demonstrate proficiency in electrical and electronic theory and application relating to plant operations and equipmentDemonstrate an intermediate working knowledge of interpreting schematics and electrical diagramsPossess three years of experience, or demonstrate the equivalent, before performing intermediate tasks on electrical and electronic machinery and equipmentObtain two years of experience, or demonstrate the equivalent, before performing basic mechanical installation or repair to equipmentDesired qualifications:Conduit bending experienceWhat to expect after applying:Applicants that meet the qualifications will receive a call from our talent acquisition team to talk through your qualifications and answer questions you may have.
