Key Responsibilities of the ICU Registered Nurse

• Provide care for intensive care, ventilator support, and post-cardiac procedure patients
• Administer treatments including continuous renal replacement therapy, and manage conditions such as sepsis, ECMO, PEs, post-thrombectomy, and stroke
• Utilize advanced equipment like CRRT, Artic Sun, and Balloon Pump
• Float within scope to PCU, MedSurg, and Tele if necessary
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNAs, RTs, and midlevel ICU providers

Requirements of the ICU Registered Nurse

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
• Proficiency in handling patient types and equipment mentioned
