Job Title: Cloud Security Software Engineer (Python)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Cloud Security Software Engineer with strong Python development skills to build secure, scalable cloud solutions. This is a development-focused role involving IAM automation, cloud security controls, API integrations, and CI/CD pipelines in AWS/GCP environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop IAM automation, roles, and security controls for AWS/GCP.
• Build Python-based frameworks for security orchestration and detection/response.
• Develop and integrate REST/SOAP APIs with cloud and security platforms.
• Create self-service IAM automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Implement policy enforcement, event-driven security controls, and automated testing.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with security, cloud, and engineering teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience with AWS or GCP cloud services.
• Advanced Python programming (mandatory).
• Experience with APIs, scalable application development, and automated testing (pytest, Behave, or JUnit).
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, IAM, and cloud security best practices.
• Experience in enterprise or financial services environments is preferred.
• AWS Security Specialty, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or CISSP certifications are a plus.
• Must be able to pass a Python-focused Karat Assessment .
