Step into a fulfilling contract position supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels for the 2026-2027 school year. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by delivering comprehensive psychological services that nurture academic, social, and emotional growth for students in grades K-12. With a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, you can focus on building strong relationships with students and school staff as you support their educational journeys.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active New York School Psychologist License
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Dedication to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Provide individual and group counseling to help students manage behavioral, social, and emotional challenges
- Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Offer crisis management support and proactive behavioral intervention when needed
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation aligned with state and district guidelines
