District Manager Trainee

Senior Level ManagerStewart's Shops is a fast-growing convenience store chain in New York and Vermont with friendly store associates and great customers! Our employees own 1/3 of the company and share in the growth and profits. We are looking for an experienced multi-unit senior level manager for our shops. Our ideal candidate has at least three years multi-unit convenience store or food service management experience and possess a hands-on, personal management style. This is a full-time position that requires a flexible schedule.Responsibilities:Teach in context & be curious enough to find solutions.Effectively listen, anticipate, and communicate with partners (employees), senior management and district staff.Positively lead, motivate, and teach Stewart's tools and solutions at by shop and at weekly district meetings.Initiate candid and honest conversations with others which our "smaller is nicer" management style fosters.Travel between district shops on a regular basis.Work flexible hours, days, shifts, including holidays.We offer:Salary: $90,000 - $100,000.Competitive compensation, ESOP & benefits package.Company provided car and cell phone upon completion of training.Long-term stability and control due to family/employee ownership and vertical integration.A fun, fast paced atmosphere with a great crew and loyal customers.To help provide our employees with a safe work environment, we are a drug free workplace.
