Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide comprehensive emergency care by following STEMI and Stroke protocols
• Perform conscious sedation, chest tubes, and intubation procedures
• Administer laceration repair and antivenom infusion
• Conduct ortho splinting as needed
• Effectively manage a 1:2-3 patient ratio in the emergency setting

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
• Minimum of 3 years recent experience in an Emergency Department
• Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR
