Capital Project Manager

Capital Project Manager - Schools Location: Croydon. Duration: 3 months (temp-to-perm). Working hours: 8:30am - 5pm. Immediate start. Salary: GBP30 - GBP35 per hour (pro rata payment of £54,000 to £58,000). Overview Support the schools estates team managing 55 schools. Responsible for capital projects including room refurbishments, fire alarm upgrades, building extensions, lighting, and heating upgrades. Responsibilities Project manage and support the delivery of all key building programmes throughout the Federation, reporting to the Head of Estates and Projects. Project manage and support the maintenance and condition management of the school estate, including asset management processes. Project manage the capital elements of academy conversion projects. Oversee a multi‑million pound spend (£10m this fiscal year) and manage multiple projects up to £1m in value. Qualifications Public sector experience, ideally within schools. Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering capital projects. Experience managing budgets up to £1m and coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams.
