Quality Technician (3rd Shift)We're hiring a Quality Technician to support food safety and product quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for:Candidates with experience in Quality, QA/QC, GMP-regulated manufacturing, food production, or laboratory environmentsRecent graduates with a degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, or another science field who have basic lab experience and want to build a career in Quality**No degree is required for candidates with relevant industry experience!What You'll DoCollect samples from production lines and perform quality inspectionsConduct basic laboratory testing on food products and ingredientsMonitor GMPs, sanitation practices, and food safety standardsDocument test results and complete quality recordsCalibrate and verify basic quality equipmentIdentify quality issues and communicate findings to production teamsSupport audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiativesHelp ensure products meet company, customer, and regulatory requirementsWhat We're Looking ForOption 1: Experience-BasedExperience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, food manufacturing, laboratory work, or a GMP/FDA-regulated environmentKnowledge of GMPs, quality systems, inspections, or documentation practicesOROption 2: Entry-Level Science GraduateAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, or a related scientific fieldBasic laboratory experience through coursework, internships, research, or previous employmentStrong attention to detail and willingness to learnAdditional QualificationsComfortable working in a manufacturing environmentAbility to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility during the shiftStrong communication and documentation skillsBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office)ScheduleInitial training on 1st shift (approximately 4 weeks)Permanent schedule on 3rd shiftRotating 2-on / 2-off scheduleEvery other weekend requiredWhy Apply?Great opportunity for recent science graduatesHands-on laboratory and quality experienceTraining providedExposure to food safety, GMPs, and regulatory complianceOpportunity to grow within Quality and Food SafetyJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
