The amount of the sign-on bonus is dependent upon your years of Central Processing experience.$5,000 sign on bonus, 2-year commitment – no experience necessary$7,000 sign on bonus, 2-year commitment – 1 – 2 years of Sterile Processing experience, with certification$10,000 sign on bonus, 2-year commitment – > 2 years of Sterile Processing experience with certificationGENERAL OVERVIEW:This job receives, cleans, distributes and stores medical instruments and equipment.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Cleans, disinfects, decontaminates, and sterilizes medical instruments and equipment using appropriate methods, substances and equipment. (30%)Receives, stocks, packages, and distributes medical instruments and equipment. (30%)Performs and documents required quality assurance testing and inspection on stock. Inventories and reorders supplies. (30%)Properly disposes of biohazardous substances, chemicals, medical waste, and unusable equipment and supplies.
