Pharmacist

Provides medication therapy management services in collaboration with providers to assure that drug therapy is safe, effective, efficient and cost-effective. Pharmacy services provided include medication reconciliation, medication therapy monitoring, medication orders management, drug information, drug dosing, and various scholarly activities. The pharmacist supervises pharmacy technicians and ensures that patient care is maintained through compliance with the departments policies, rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy, and other applicable regulatory bodies.
