Industrial Maintenance TechnicianSeeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to safely maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will train on 1st shift before moving to a 2nd shift schedule.Recycling Center looking for EXPERIENCED industrial maintenance tech.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Industrial Maintenance Technician Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 20.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 11:00pm)Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facility machinery.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, fuel, brake, and electrical systems.Inspect equipment regularly to ensure safe operation and minimize downtime.Maintain forklifts, balers, conveyors, densifiers, loaders, and other processing equipment.Repair and replace components including belts, bearings, hydraulic cylinders, motors, valves, chains, and wear plates.Perform welding, fabrication, and structural repairs as needed.Ensure all lockout/tagout procedures are followed.Conduct equipment safety inspections and verify all guards and safety devices are functioning properly.Maintain accurate repair logs, maintenance records, and parts inventory.Coordinate parts ordering and communicate equipment concerns to management.Support machine operators by providing guidance on basic equipment maintenance.Industrial Maintenance Technician Qualifications:Previous industrial maintenance experience required.Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Experience working on conveyors and balers.Welding and fabrication experience preferred.Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical documents.Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
