Process EngineerTrillium is seeking a Process Engineer in Kansas City!This Direct-Hire opportunity is perfect for the experienced mid-level Aerospace Process Engineer. Your machining skills, along with your SolidWorks, CADD, 3D modeling capabilities, and your ability to interpret complex aerospace blueprints, will be recognized and put to real use.You'll take ownership of manufacturing plans, coordinate directly with engineering teams, and support machining operations that depend on precision, quality, and sound technical judgment. This is a place where your skillset isn't just acknowledged, it's relied on.Responsibilities:Analyze customer requirements and interpret engineering blueprints and models to develop accurate manufacturing plans for fabrication and assembly.Coordinate technical details with internal teams and customer engineering representatives while determining operation sequencing, machine selection, setup time, and workflow planning.Identify subcontractor needs, define scope for outsourced operations, and specify materials and fabrication requirements based on part size, method, and customer specifications.Direct quality planning, support the Quality Management System, maintain documentation control, release plans, update records, and manage specifications.Support manufacturing operations by clarifying requirements, improving processes, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.Schedule is 1st Shift / Monday – Friday / 7:00 - 4:30 PM. Pay is $90,000 to $120,000 annually DOE.SolidWorks, CADD, and 3D modeling capabilities. Aerospace machining experience. Technical communication across engineering, sales, subcontractors, and internal teams. Manufacturing process knowledge including machining, fabrication, assembly, and quality systems. 3 - 7 years of experience in aerospace engineering or machining within precision manufacturing or aerostructure environments, supporting machining, fabrication, assembly, or process planning. Associate's degree or equivalent technical training aligned with aerospace process engineering or manufacturing planning.Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
