Since our founding, Jersey College has graduated over 13,500 Registered Nurses and Practical Nurses.The Dean of Nursing position oversees the entire nursing curriculum and faculty.Position - Nursing DeanJob Responsibilities:Faculty OversightCurriculum ImplementationChange ManagementStaffing and Onboard of FacultyDirect Authority for the Fiscal and Academic Administration of the Nursing Programs, when appointed as Program Administrator, Program Director or Nurse AdministratorOversee the development and implementation of Jersey Colleges philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through classroom, clinical teaching, and service to Jersey College.Oversee, manage and support financial operations of the nursing programsSupervise clinical activitiesOversee instructional activitiesExams & Standardized TestingDetermine and assign appropriate faculty workload and coordinate schedules with Dean of NursingInitiate and manage faculty developmentParticipate in weekly management meetings and keep co-chairs and supervisors informed of student progress, faculty/student issues, educational changes, and any other issues that may require the attention of othersPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedRequired Qualifications/CompetenciesMasters Degree or Higher in NursingCurrent license in State as a registered professional nurse2 + years of working experience in the area of educationAbility to maintain and report on student information and track record of achieving goalsExceptional student/customer service, listening, and teamwork skillsAn outgoing, approachable style and a passion for helping students succeedExcellent communication and presentation skillsNotice of Non-discriminationJersey College is committed to providing an environment that respects and encourages the development and growth of all students, faculty and staff.
