IMKO Workforce Solutions is hiring experienced Mechanical Assemblers for a leading manufacturing company with openings in St. Joseph, Missouri and Wathena, Kansas. If you enjoy working with tools, reading blueprints, and building quality products, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do:
- Assemble mechanical components according to blueprints and hydraulic diagrams
- Prepare and fit multiple components together
- Read and accurately use a tape measure
- Perform rework as needed to meet quality standards
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures
- Learn and follow work instructions and JQRs
- Operate department equipment safely and efficiently
- Support Lean Manufacturing (APS) initiatives
- Assist other production areas as needed
What we're looking for:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous mechanical assembly experience required
- Ability to read blueprints and hydraulic diagrams
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and commitment to quality
