What You'll Do
- Evaluate patients' cognitive and ADL physical functioning and develop individualized care plans
- Perform assessments using standardized tools and evidence-based practices
- Provide rehabilitative treatments including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, and use of assistive devices
- Document patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and evaluate outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, families, and caregivers
- Communicate regularly with supervisor regarding patient progress and barriers
- Support and supervise occupational therapy assistants, aides, or students as needed
- Complete all regulatory and clinical documentation accurately and timely
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and continuing education as required
What You Need
- Missouri Occupational Therapist license or eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in long-term or geriatric care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adhere to NBCOT/AOTA and state practice standards
