Graham Personnel Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.ResponsibilitiesReceiving and Inspection: Receive and unload incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Inspect received items for damages and report discrepancies to the supervisor.Stock Management: Organize and maintain inventory in an efficient and accessible manner. Rotate stock to ensure the oldest products are used first (first in, first out - FIFO). Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick items from shelves based on order requirements. Pack and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring items are properly secured for transit. Label packages with appropriate shipping information.Shipping and Receiving: Prepare shipping documents and arrange for transportation as needed. Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of outgoing shipments.Quality Control: Ensure all outgoing shipments meet quality standards. Report and quarantine defective products.Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues.Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in the warehouse. Comply with company policies and procedures.Requirements: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills.Working Conditions: The job may require extended periods of standing, lifting, and repetitive movements.
