Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Psychiatry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN license Certifications: ADN, BLS, current CPI, NVCI or HWC Must-Have: Strong de-escalation skills Strong communication skills Description: The position requires an RN specializing in psychiatry. The role involves working with a dedicated psychiatric unit. This unit has a capacity of 33 beds. Patient ratios are typically 1:10. Experience in geriatric and adult behavioral health is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong de-escalation skills and effective communication abilities. Common diagnoses and treatments within this setting will be encountered. The role is focused on providing compassionate care to the psychiatric population.
