Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float to other units as required based on census needs
• Provide coverage every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Maintain ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications throughout the duration of the assignment
• Apply advanced fetal monitoring skills in accordance with AWHONN Advanced or AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring standards

Required Qualifications

• Valid Arizona RN license required
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
• AWHONN Advanced or AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required (obtained within the last 2 years) — candidates without AWHONN certification will not be considered
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Labor and Delivery required
• Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be accepted
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating within a hospital setting based on census demands
• Familiarity with high-acuity Labor and Delivery environments
