Position Summary

Thrillz Atlanta is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our facility.

As an Assistant Manager, you'll work alongside our leadership team to ensure the park operates efficiently while delivering exceptional service to every guest. You'll help oversee daily operations, assist with employee scheduling, manage birthday parties and group events, coach Team Members, and support the Lead Managers in maintaining operational excellence across the facility.

This is a hands-on leadership position that requires someone who enjoys being on the floor, solving problems, developing employees, and creating memorable experiences for guests.

Leadership

• Lead by example and help create a positive, energetic work environment.
• Coach, motivate, and support Team Members throughout each shift.
• Assist with onboarding and training new employees.
• Provide real-time coaching to reinforce company standards and improve performance.
• Work collaboratively with the management team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Daily Operations

• Support the overall operation of the facility, including attractions, admissions, café, arcade, party rooms, and guest flow.
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily operational procedures.
• Conduct routine facility walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness.
• Help resolve operational challenges quickly and professionally.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the facility.

Scheduling & Staffing

• Assist with creating and maintaining employee schedules.
• Monitor staffing levels and labor throughout the day.
• Help coordinate shift coverage and communicate scheduling updates with the management team.
• Support employee attendance and accountability.

Birthday Parties & Group Events

• Oversee birthday parties and group events to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Coordinate with Party Hosts to ensure events remain on schedule.
• Ensure party rooms are fully prepared before guest arrival.
• Resolve guest concerns quickly while maintaining a positive experience.
• Assist with corporate events, school groups, and large bookings.

Guest Experience

• Deliver outstanding customer service and lead by example.
• Address guest concerns professionally and confidently.
• Create a fun, welcoming, and safe environment for every guest.
• Support all departments during busy periods to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Safety

• Help ensure all company safety procedures and operational standards are followed.
• Monitor attractions and employee compliance with safety policies.
• Complete incident reports when necessary.
• Promote a culture focused on safety, teamwork, and accountability.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience in hospitality, entertainment, retail, restaurants, or a similar customer-focused environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude with a hands-on leadership style.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with scheduling and labor management is a plus.
