The Division of Pulmonary, Asthma and Sleep Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine/Stanford Medicine Children’s Health is recruiting a Clinician Educator as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor. The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Academic rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Job Responsibilities Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical care at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, CA, and several community hospitals and clinics across the greater East and North Bay area. Participate in the didactics of medical students, residents and fellows. Contribute to research, quality improvement and program development. Qualifications MD/DO degree with Board Certification in Pediatrics. Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine, and a California Medical License by the time of hire. Additional Board Certification in Sleep Medicine is a plus. Outstanding clinicians with a dedication to teaching and mentoring trainees. Priority to specialists in cystic fibrosis, chronic lung disease, or sleep medicine.
