ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams : Lead a cross-functional team to design and implement purpose-built kitting carts aligned to each step of the assembly process, ensuring the warehouse delivers dunnage-free, production-ready kits to support efficient line-side assembly.

- Dunnage & Packaging Optimization: Evaluate current dunnage usage and identify excess or non-value-added materials across warehouse and production processes. Partner cross-functionally with production, operations, quality, and procurement to test and implement alternative packaging solutions (e.g., right-sizing, reusable, and recycled materials). Ensure all packaging changes maintain product protection, safety, and regulatory compliance standards. Track and report on cost savings, waste reduction, and operational impacts (positive and negative) related to packaging and material flow improvements.
- Inventory Lifecycle Management: Identify slow-moving, obsolete, damaged, or excess inventory and support disposition strategies in alignment with company policies
- Receiving & Put-Away Oversight: Partner with receiving operations to ensure materials are properly verified, labeled, and stored in correct locations to prevent downstream discrepancies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse, procurement, and production teams to reinforce inventory control procedures and drive continuous improvement.
- Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety standards.
