All of our employees are eligible for a 401(k)match, paid time off, an employee discount on purchases at our thriftstores, and working in a caring and compassionate environment just to name a few.As a Youth Residential Nurse, you will be directly involved in nurturingthe hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho as part of direct care team.This team will be advancing leading practices in trauma-informed,youth-guided and family-driven behavioral health practices.Must haves: At least 21 years of age Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Idaho Must have valid, state-issued drivers license or obtain one within 15 days of hire, as a condition of continued employment Knowledge of computer and EHR systems Preferred: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification One year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting Our Youth Residential Nurses: Provide direct patient care, including monitoring visits Conduct nursing and health assessments upon admission and on a weekly basis for each youth Oversee and execute medication administration, including observation of psychiatry protocols Triage of emergency or urgent situations; administer emergency or first aid care; triage clients to determine the appropriate level of care necessary for the health and safety of the clients This position would work 4/10s from 10pm - 8amAs a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, the Idaho Youth Ranch is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program.
