Congressional Country Club is seeking Seasonal / Full-Time Stewards / Dishwashers who understand that excellence in the kitchen begins with cleanliness, organization, and teamwork. Stewards play a vital role in supporting our culinary team by ensuring all kitchen equipment, china, flatware, and glassware are properly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for service. At Congressional, we look for Team Members who believe the impossible is possible-individuals driven to make a positive impact and who believe that, together, we accomplish more. What will be expected of you: Wash all wares by hand or using commercial dishwashing equipment, following the highest sanitation standards Polish silverware, platters, and chafing dishes Collect trash from kitchen areas; empty, clean, and re‑line garbage containers; break down boxes and remove debris Inspect trash and dish areas to prevent loss of silverware, china, glassware, or other reusable items Clean and polish stainless steel surfaces throughout the kitchen, including shelves, cabinets, ice machines, refrigerators, walk‑ins, and coffee stations Clean receiving areas, trash rooms, and other kitchen‑related spaces Sweep and mop kitchen floors, ensuring they remain clean, dry, and free of debris Store dishes, glassware, and equipment in designated areas Clean and maintain dish machines and dish areas after each meal period Assist with additional tasks such as light food preparation, storing deliveries, and cleaning coolers, freezers, and storerooms Maintain inventory of soaps, chemicals, and paper products Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas safely Handle all china and glassware with care to minimize breakage Support weekly kitchen cleaning and maintenance checklists Properly clean and store all brooms, mops, and cleaning equipment How we determine your qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment Benefits: Seasonal position and Full Time Positions Complimentary meals and parking Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance (available to full- and part-time Team Members) Employee discounts on golf, tennis, fitness apparel, and more Competitive benefits focused on total well-being and work-life balance Congressional Country Club is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE). #J-18808-Ljbffr CONGRESSIONAL COUNTRY CLUB
