Resident Service Specialist

Overview The Resident Services Specialist has the primary responsibility of providing assistance and coordinating all requests from residents with the property management team. The position also oversees the overall appearance of the community, assists in marketing functions, and delivers exceptional customer service to all residents. Responsibilities include maintaining resident files, administering resident retention programs, processing service requests, meeting with resident groups, and supporting the Community Director and Community Manager in ensuring compliance with all Hunt Military Communities policies and government regulations. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for all resident-related inquiries. Coordinate and assist with all resident requests by entering work orders into YARDI. Answer resident questions and resolve concerns while providing the highest level of customer service with courteous, professional, and prompt responses. Follow up on all interactions to ensure completion and satisfaction. Assist in inspecting model and vacant homes to ensure readiness for tours of prospective clients when required. Administer move-in lease documents and conduct home inspections with residents. Coordinate move-outs, pre-inspections, and final inspections for outgoing residents, assessing any charges for damages and delivering final utility bills where applicable. Monitor rental account balances and ensure all fees and rent charges are accurate in Yardi. Help maintain community curb appeal and the appearance of the office, amenities, models, homes, and community. Conduct follow-up phone calls to residents to confirm work orders are completed to their satisfaction within an acceptable timeframe. Perform other duties as needed to support the Community Director/Community Manager and/or Leasing team. Participate in monthly site functions to assist in resident retention. Drive for the company using a company vehicle or personal/rental vehicle for more than 50% of work duties. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or a related discipline preferred. Experience with computers and typical office software such as email, Word, Excel, and internet browsers required. Previous sales experience preferred. Strong customer service skills. Ability to show houses in all weather conditions. Good judgment and discretion in handling highly confidential information. Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate clearly and professionally with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally. Ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A high degree of professionalism and a strong work ethic, coupled with a sense of responsibility and integrity required. Ability to resolve problems independently and responsibly. Reliability, self‑motivation, teamwork, attention to detail, and strong communication and business literacy skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Strategic thinking: envision, develop, and implement new strategies to address complex business issues. Proactive: identify and anticipate client needs and provide recommendations for implementation.
