Thought Leader Liaison, Nephrology- West

Associate Director role focused on building and maintaining relationships with key medical experts and nephrology stakeholders across the West region. The position bridges commercial strategy and external advocacy, generating marketplace insights and supporting launch readiness for current and future therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

• Identify, profile, and engage key medical experts and stakeholders in transplant and nephrology communities regionally and nationally
• Gather field insights on customer needs, treatment practices, and market dynamics to inform commercial strategy
• Develop regional account plans and commercial content addressing current and future disease states
• Serve as primary liaison for approved KME engagement activities including advisory boards and educational initiatives
• Support congress planning and speaker bureau execution while coordinating post-meeting insights with internal teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 7 years marketing, field sales, or thought leader liaison experience
• Field-based rare disease and/or nephrology experience required
• Strategic thinking with ability to influence across internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical and insight-generation skills with complex information synthesis
• Entrepreneurial self-starter capable of managing competing priorities across large geography
• Willingness to travel 60-70% within assigned territory

Compensation: $180,000–$247,500 base
