Clinical Pharmacist in Canton, MI

A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available in a home infusion environment, offering an 8 to 13-week contract. This assignment is based in Canton, Michigan, with a weekday schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.


Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and verification of sterile compounds performed by pharmacy technicians in a clean room setting.
• Ensure adherence to USP 797 and USP 800 standards for sterile compounding.
• Provide clinical consultations to patients, supporting their therapeutic needs and medication management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Michigan pharmacist license is mandatory.
• Experience in home infusion pharmacy practice is required.
• Sterile compounding experience is essential, preferably within a home infusion context.
• Familiarity with the Care Tend computer system is a plus but not required.

Work Environment:

• Dynamic home infusion setting focused on delivering patient-centered care through sterile compounding and clinical consultation.
