Registered Nurse - Ortho-Neuro Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts, including weekends as scheduled.

As a Registered Nurse in the Ortho-Neuro Unit, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing elective surgeries and managing various orthopedic and neurological conditions. The unit features 33 private beds and emphasizes excellent patient support and care coordination.

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic and neurological patients.

Administer medications and monitor patient responses, including PCA pumps.

Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care plans and procedures.

Document patient care activities and maintain accurate health records using the EPIC system.

Assist in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patient care.

Current RN license with BLS certification (AHA).

Experience in orthopedic care and familiarity with PCA pumps.

Proficiency in using EPIC or similar electronic health record systems.

Ability to work collaboratively in a high-paced healthcare environment.

Flexible scheduling availability, including nights and weekends.
