[Responsibilities]
- Oversee Capital Authorization Requests (CARs): validate documentation, monitor approvals, and maintain accurate records in line with company policies.
- Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close: prepare journal entries, reconciliations, fluctuation analyses, and supporting schedules.
- Support group accounting: monitor legal entity submissions, validate financial data, research reporting issues between ERP and consolidation systems, and deliver analytical reports.
- Maintain and audit global intercompany transfer pricing data: investigate discrepancies and assist with resolution of accounting issues.
- Analyze large data sets and general ledger activity using ERP systems, Excel, and Power Query to support financial reporting and ad hoc requests.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors: prepare documentation, support integration activities, and participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Engage in special projects with cross-functional teams, demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years progressive accounting experience in a large public international corporation or 3+ years in public accounting
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Self-motivated, energetic, and positive attitude
- Proven record in process optimization and continuous improvement
