This position involves building and refurbishing oilfield equipment, such as control belts and dual belts, by welding flux on stainless and carbon steel.

Responsibilities

• Perform flux core welding on stainless and carbon steel.
• Read and interpret blueprints for fabrication and structural welding.
• Grind materials as part of the preparation and finishing process.

Essential Skills

• 2-3 years of experience in structural welding.
• Proficiency in flux core welding on stainless and carbon steel.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in MIG welding is beneficial.

This role is set in a non-climate-controlled environment, both inside and outside. Fans provide air circulation. Most employees are travel welders who rent long-term apartments in Early, TX, and the position offers per diem compensation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Early, TX.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
